RAPID EYE MOVEMENT
Jun 2nd, 2008 at 8:44pm

I watched a show about a little girl diagnosed with MM and she had a rapid eye movement with her TIA's. Is this a common characteristic? I care for a little girl that does the same thing. She was born at 24 weeks, she is very active but has an unsteady gait and will sometimes fling herself to one side. Mom has MS and other neuro problems. This little girl has a trach and GB. She is obsessed with feeling textures with her mouth but no desire to put food in her mouth.  This may be completely unrelated but the eye movement is so unique that I am curious.

Thank you
Penny

I would talk to a nurologest and ask them if they hurd of MM, and if so then relay the symptoms and see what he thaught if it might be or not. They may ask you to come in. Do not go to anyone that doesn't know what MM is.  Good luck in finding an answer. Don't give up untill you are satified with the answer you get. even if it means getting mulitpul opinions. Trust me I know for experience. I fist was told I this kind of stroke then they change it to that kind of a stroke. then more tests. Then they decided since the results were comming back as mixed results Ishould go to a nuroradiologest and get more tests done. The nuroradiologest said MM but my nurologest said that it was impossible for me to have it since i am not Asian.  I live in minnisota so I decided to go to the Mayo clinic. The nurologest didn't look at the tests he just looked at one film and said yep you have MM. Since this nurologest at the Mayo had a great record of sucessful surgerys for MM I believed him. Where do you live? In this site there is a file with surgens and nurologest that we have used.  You both will be my prayers.

What doesn't kill us, makes us stronger. And sometimes leaves a cool looking scar.     STA-MCA bypass and EMS Surgeries done at same time at the Mayo clinic
