Hi, I am Rosemary and I am new to the sight.  Actually I am not entirely new.  When my daughter was diagnosed two years ago I got on the sight but did not continue.  My daughter Sydney is 17 now and has just undergone her second EDAS surgery.  So far so good.  She/ we were lucky because we caught it fairly early before she had any damage.  Her only symptoms were short TIA's.  This time the TIA's were longer(5 mins as opposed to 30 secs).  I am a little more concerned this time around because she is older and her symptoms are stronger but we are praying everything will be fine.  Her Dr. at Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta was wonderful.  His name is Dr. William Boydston.  He is a ped. neurosurgeon.  I could go on forever about all this, so if anyone has any questions let me know.  So far we've had a good outcome.  Thanks for listening,  Rosemary    Grin
