Just wanted everyone to know that I had my surgery on March 24, 2011 a day early. Dr. Mario Zuccarello, MD, a neurosurgeon with the Mayfield Clinic and Director of Cerebrovascular Surgery at the University of Cincinnati Neuroscience Institute(UCNI) at University Hospital performed my surgery. The team from Mayfield Clinic was wonderful. The staff at the UCNI at University Hospital were terrific. Especially the nurses. I can not thank them enough. I am three weeks into my recovery. My husband say's I am an impatient patient. I am not use to doing so little. But I have walked around our block three times. My goal is to walk the Columbus half marathon in October with my walking group. So if you are looking for help in the Midwest I would come to Cincinnati.
