For anyone that might be interested:

I had a cerebral angiogram a few months ago for investigation purposes as my regular MRI checkups had showed something unusual happening..
The angiogram showed that my STA-MCA bypass on the left side had pretty much closed off, however, my left middle meningeal artery had grown extremely oversized and was supplying all the necessary blood to that area of the brain! My surgeon was very pleased and surprised as he hadn't seen this happen before.. but it goes to show that our brains do work in weird and wonderful ways to keep things flowing up there
