Always nervous after f/u MRI/MRA
Jul 19th, 2012 at 12:17pm

Our son had surgery with Dr. Scott in November of 2010.  I do not know about anyone else, but every time we have a re-check MRI/MRA (which was on Tuesday) I get VERY anxious.  Unfortunately for us, and fortunately for him, Dr. Scott is on vacation until the end of July, so we will have a bit of a wait.  Positive thoughts to everyone!

Kelley, I understand! My son had his surgery last year. The 6 month MRI/MRA looked good thank God, cause i had myself all stressed that it wouldn't turn out good!  He is scheduled for his angiogram next month.

Best of luck to your son!

I actually look forward to the scans, it's the only time we can be pro-active about moyamoya. Luckily for us all the scan we've had since surgery haven't indicated any significant progression, but at least if we see it early enough we can do something about it.

If I could afford it, I'd put an MRI machine in my lounge and check Luca weekly  Smiley

Take care
