can this be a TIA?
Apr 5th, 2013 at 11:17am

Destin has a new symptom. The right side of her face feels hot for a few minutes.  It doesn't get red or feel hot to the touch (if someone else touches it).  I know tingling and drooping, weakness are TIA symptoms but I can't find anything that mentions the feeling of heat.  I don't want to panic but I don't want to ignore it either.  We know she has some blockage on the left side now and we are vigilant but I also don't want to over-react.  has anyone experienced this?

i'd discuss with her neurologist for a qualified opinion...our son occasionally has a very hot ear, but it is also red in coloration when it happens...lasts for anywhere from a few minutes to an half hour or so...i was also concerned when it first presented
