worrying EEG results
Jul 30th, 2013 at 8:17am

So, I got Mitchell's EEG results back today. ( our neuro ordered one after an onset of disturbing/emotional behaviour). They show a major spike in irregular brain activity on the left hand side. Our Neuro is scheduling an MRI for as soon as possible. Its been nine years since Mitchells had any "real issues", and im a nervous wreck. Has anyone else been through anything similar, what was the outcome. I feel like im watching him like a hawk every second now. Sad

Hi,

Our son had no damage in the frontal lobe through the stroke but very recently shows similar behaviour patterns. MRI and EEG show no changes, but the psychiatric diagnosis is clearly mania. We are still in the process of detailed analyses, but this could be independent or connected symptoms.

Do you have any updates?
