stroke after surgeries
Aug 13th, 2013 at 9:47am

I was diagnosed with mm about ten years ago this October. I have been having tia's ever since and last August I had another stroke. I was lucky I was in Virginia because I got to the hospital in plenty of time to prevent any real long lasting effects. My speach gets difficult when I get tired, but for the most part I'm doing well. Has anyone else had a stroke after their surgeries? It's kinda distressing! Sad

I had a stroke 5 months after my surgery. I like you have trouble with speech when I'm tired, I also have right arm shakes and get a little wobbly when walking when I get run down also. I haven't driven or worked since I had my surgery and it will be 4 years this September. Just make sure your doctor and surgeon now what has happened. I see my neurologist every 2 to 3 months and my surgeon now every 6 months.
