Anyone at Stanford Hospital?

Hi there!

Is anyone going to be at Stanford over the next two weeks? Dr. Steinberg will be performing my surgery next week Wednesday, 4 February.

It wasn't really planned, but needed to be done asap, so Dr. Steinberg is flying in from a conference to perform the surgery and then I believe he will return to his conference. He is such an exceptional doctor!!!

Anyway, if anyone is in the area, I would love to meet you and put your face to the nicknames on the message board.

Hi Pooh,

I wish we could be there with you at Stanford next week for your surgery, just as DJ was for our family. We may not be there in person but please know we'll be there with you in spirit with all our prayers and support.
That Dr Steinberg is just the greatest isn't he? Smiley

You're in the best hands Pooh. He's amazing and the best specialist in the world!!!

Hello! I am also planning a surgery at Stanford, but it isn't until March 9th. Dr. Steinberg is going to do my second bypass for my left side. I had my right side done in August, 2003 at Baylor,Dallas. I am actually excited about the surgery, because I don't want another stroke, and because he seems to be the expert and a wonderful surgeon.I am so thankful for this sight, so that I could find out about Dr. Steinberg. If anyone is going to be at Stanford in March, I also would love to meet them. ; Grin

Gilberttl and pupuki, I wish I was going out there and could meet you both we had a wonderful experience with Dr. Steinberg we were just back there in august for a check up you will love Dr. S he is really nice and his nurse theresa is awesome too. I'm sure you will have a good experience also. D.J. has info on a hotel he made a deal with for moyamoya families and patients that are staying with you. Good Luck keep us posted.
