Angel Arianna:Take One
May 4th, 2004 at 12:36pm

Okay, I am sure this is just the first in a series of post on Angel Arianna.
If I knew how to get a picture up here I would, but let me just say that even tho' to me she was beautiful, imagine a female Dopey from the seven dwarves. That is kinda what she looked like when she smiled really big.  As I had said previously, she was addicted to spearmint gum, not just any gum.  It had to be the Extra brand.  Always bumming coins.  When I find her stash, I'll be rich.  Her favorite song was Lady Marmalade. She came by that when I was practicing for a  karaoke contest and she became my back up singer.  She never met a stranger.  If you came within 5 feet of her you were one of her best friends and if you had a cookie or gum, you were her best friend for the day.  I try not to think of what she didn't get to do, because she did a lot.  She got to go to the beach and go on a boat out into the ocean.  She rode a horse last summer.  She got to pet Shamu and go camping.  She was learning to swim last summer. She did a lot of things.  She absolutely loved school.  The week before her surgery, she did not want to go.  I think she knew she was leaving.  She stayed with us and would climb in bed and say "Mommy, I love you so much".  She went to school one day that week and gave everybody hugs and told them bye.  I think she was ready.  She worked so hard to learn the things she knew.  She was and is pure sunshine.  When I would come home from work, she would just run up to me and grab my legs and holler "yea, mommy's home".  I really miss that.
Well, that is all for this episode of Angel Arianna.
Stay tuned when next time we discuss the Onryanna as she was also known.  The things this child could think up to do was incredible.
Till next time.

Tammy---I am speechless---and just bawling my eyes out--I mean sobbing uncontrollably Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry-----what a beautiful story, yet heartbreaking...my daughter, Jillian, is just about to turn 5 and she is, together with my other daughters, the absolute sunshine of my days and nights.  My heart is breaking for you....WE MUST DO ALL WE CAN TO SEE THAT THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN TO EVEN ONE MORE CHILD.  That's why DJ started this website and that's why I am starting "The Moyamoya Foundation---Helping Hands, Caring Hearts"  I was just e-mailing my contact at the IRS and our attorney, Tom Wrobel, in CAlifornia earlier this morning.  You will all love him.....and I am confident that at least 1 neurosurgeon, 1 pediatric neurosurgeon, 2 neurologists, 1 neuropsychologist, and 2 prominent researchers of neurological disorders will agree to sit on the Board.  In addition to DJ, myslef, Tom Gallucci, my accountant, and my personal financial advisor.  ALso, know that I have a lunch meeting set up for WEd May 11th with the Head of the Trust Division of Merrill Lynch, which company has the largest international charitable organization and foundation department......so, things are moving along behind the scenes here in NJ and out in California with our attorney.....will keep all of you posted.

From this month's edition of Alive Now, article entitled Fire by Night, by Laura Huff Hileman (of Nashville, TN)

Behold
Fear not
I am about to do a new thing:
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
The truth will make you free.
Lo, I am with you always.
Comprehend...the breadth and length and
height and depth, and know the love of Christ
that surpasses knowledge so that you may be filled
with all the fullness of God.

Peace, faith, hope and love to all of you. Pat
