Moyamoya and Down syndrome

I've been contacted by a mother of a 20 year old daughter with Down syndrome that has recently had her first bypass for moyamoya. She is very concerned about some of the recovery for Down syndrome patients and would desperately like to speak to some families that are in her same shoes.

My son, Malachi, had his first (and only) stroke at 18 months old and had surgery with Dr. Scott at 2 years old.
