MN - Dr. Nussbaum - Just Diagnosed, surgery?
Jun 1st, 2012 at 12:57pm

Hello. I have recently been diagnosed with MM. I am looking for any and all info that I can get my hands on. I live in MN and would being going to Dr. Eric Nussbaum if I decide to have bypass surgery done. I had a stroke last year and just recently had a possible TIA, but otherwise have been living a normal life. I would really like to hear from anyone who has seen Dr. Nussbaum, but would also like to hear personal accounts of deciding to have surgery done and everything involved. Thank you so much for your time.

LZ,
Welcome to the family. I am sorry you have to be here but this is the best place for infromation and support. I am also from MN but I did not see your nurologest. I saw Dr. Fredric Meyer.

Dr. Fredric Meyer is great at the STA-MCA bypass and encephalomyosynangios.  He makes sure you ONLY loose the nessasary hair for the surgery. He also talks to like you are human not a hunk of meat to be experimented on.  The nicest group of people I have ever had the pleaser of working with.

I barely have a scar. He didn't have to shave my head just his insion line. I TOTALY recomend him. He is exreamly knowagable and HE LOOKS you in the EYEs while he talks to you and your family. He answered ALL of our concerns ans even will rexplaine things in terms you can understand if he gets to technical.

Good luck in choosing your path. Please keep us posted and don't hesitate to ask any questions.
Stay strong,
Becky
