EDAS and numbness in face and hands
Nov 28th, 2012 at 11:56pm

Has anyone that had the EDAS had any numbness in their face, mouth or hands (or anything else for that matter)?  Destin had surgery on the right side 4 years ago.  she still gets tingling in her face on the left side.  That side is controlled by the right.  She has great blood flow on the right now.  Her surgeon thinks it could be seizures or the fact that the srtery used for her surgery was one that doesn't normally supply blood to the brain.  Just curious.

Yes. I had the EDAS on the right side in 2000. I ocassionally get slight numbness in the left arm. Very mild and of no consequence in dexterity. I used to get severe paralysis of the left arm and leg.
