I forgot to mention... Most of you don't know, but I've been an avid hockey fan for almost 30 years now.  I just have three words to say:

hi DJ,

I am going through Red Wing withdraw.  Now all I can say is

                Go Pistons

My sister Patty has mm and had a lot of Red Wings stuff.  As she was coming out of her funk (her word) we lived for the Wings games.  She always remembered all the players etc. and enjoyed watching them.

No offense, I avoid hockey like the plague. At the first and only game I have ever been to I was hit in the thigh by a puck.  Perfect circular bruise that stayed around for nearly 4  months.  Bad flashbacks when I see ice!

Shari,

You should try hockey again --- odds are in your favor that you will never get hit again by a puck.

My sister Patty got hit in the head with a puck before her mm.  She will always have the puck.

I too still have that puck.  I haven't had the opportunity to take in another game.  If I go again, I won't step over the seats to climb down the bleacher and I will wear jeans.  No more shorts.

Yeah Mar, I watched the game too.  I'm SO sorry the Flyers didn't make it to the finals.  The fans in Philly deserved it more than the fans in Tampa.  Fans in Florida don't have a passion for hockey!  Fans in Philly & Calgary do!

When every single fan in the stands can wear a red (Calgary) or orange (Philly) shirt..... thats passion!  Did you notice no one was wearing Tampa gear in the stands today??  They just don't get it...

GO FLAMES!  Canada fans deserve The Cup!

Shari, Rena is exactly right about the "bumping".

Rena, I bumped it last night because the Flames kicked Tampa Bay's ass last night in game one of the Stanley Cup Finals!
