Hi All!
I'm glad you enjoyed Dr. Suess and his take on moyamoya disease and hope you enjoyed it as much as I did writing it. I know Kevin really enjoyed it!
My intent was to "lift spirts" by sharing the "lighter side" of life even with moyamoya disease. I believe we must always have hope. I also believe that "laughter sets the spirit free" and it can be very therapuetic.
I have always liked Dr. Suess stories from the time I was a child and love rhyming words. I'm also a very upbeat individual. According to some, just plain silly. lol

So writing this seemed very natural for me. Of course, the credit must go to Dr. Suess for his inspiration and way of telling a stories.

I believe "one can get busy living" or "one can get busy dying". It's a choice for all with chronic conditions and/or diseases. By the way, that saying came from the movie Shawshank Redemption, one of my favorite movies. I actually thought Morgan Freeman was talking to me when he said that line in the movie!
When I was going through surgery and treatment 7 years ago for kidney cancer (and you all thought I was simply a caregiver to a brother with moyamoya) lol

- I remember receiving get well cards and many were actually depressing!

Then I received a very funny get well card from a friend and laughed histerically for what seemed like days.

I will never forget how good it felt to laugh and to realize just how short life is and how important it is to live each day to the fullest and not be consumed with my disease. "Don't worry, be happy!" Now where have we heard that? lol

I'm very happy to report I am cancer free today. See, there is hope! Don't ever forget it.
Well enough preaching! ( I know, you're are not a priest and this is not a confessional) lol

By the way, I promise to keep my daytime job. lol

Deb, and anyone who would like, please feel free to share Dr. Suess on moyamoya. Just have fun with it.

Hugs and God Bless All,

Lore
